FAQS

Camp Serenbe- FAQs.jpg

What is the camper-staff ratio?

The number of counselors varies per group. The blue group camper-to-staff ratio is 4:1. The green, orange and yellow groups are 6:1. In addition, our camp director and assistant director oversee all groups. All staff members are CPR certified. The counselors of Camp Serenbe are a group of young adults who are involved in the local community. Each summer we welcome back many returning counselors in addition to a few new faces!

Do I need to send all items listed in the Camper Information Packet?

YES! Please make sure that your child is prepared for camp each morning.

What shoes are best?

Your camper should wear shoes they are comfortable walking and running in. Shoes should be easy to put on and take off.

What if my child has allergies?

Please be sure to include all allergies on the health form so our staff is fully informed. If your child has severe food allergies we do recommend bringing your own lunch.

Can I drop off my child before 9am?

At this time we do not offer early drop off. If you have a special request please contact us and we will do our best to make accommodations.

When is pick up?

Monday-Thursday at 3:00 pm. On Friday we have a special performance and ask that all parents or caregivers come to the Pavilion at 2:30pm.

Who should I call in an emergency?

Please call the Inn at Serenbe at (770) 463-2610.

Can I participate in some activities with my child?

We do appreciate enthusiastic parents! However, please let your child enjoy the camp experience on their own. If you are staying on the Inn grounds or in the community for the day please take this time to enjoy your own adventure. We know it can be tempting to see the fun your child is having at camp; you will experience this on Friday during the performance -- and through all the pictures we take!
